From ESPN to Starbucks, some of the world’s most famous and beloved brands are making the jump to NFTs. A few years ago, the question was whether or not major brands would embrace blockchain assets. Now, the question is simply which brand will be next and which will dominate.
Now, corporate brands in the NFT space may have some serious competition on their hands. Disney The corporation has published a job listing for a lawyer related to NFTs.
The official list at Disney Careers Page The role describes a Senior Advisor – Corporate Transactions, Emerging Technologies and NFTs based in Burbank, California. From all indications this role requires someone with experience in the technology sector and this includes NFTs and blockchain.
The role is “seeking an experienced corporate attorney to work on transactions involving emerging technologies including NFTs, blockchain, metaverse and decentralized finance,” and also comes with a requirement of 5-8 years of experience in corporate transactions.
He will be the candidate in the specified activities Providing legal advice to Disney and trade groups on NFT and cryptocurrency-related issues. For months, there has been speculation as to whether or not Disney will enter the NFT space. This job posting seems to confirm that at least some NFT-related activities are in the cards in the future.
