The Gala Games Advanced Playtest started today. The good news – anyone with a Gala Games account can participate in the playtest. According to the Advanced AMA’s Gala Games in August, alpha playtesting remains at the forefront of developers’ minds. So it is safe to say that the players will not be disappointed with the new playtest.

Gala Games Advanced Playtest: What We Know So Far
The developers of Gala Games say that players will find many new, well-tuned features that were not available in previous playtests. These include new skills, powers and also higher graphics. The playtest also includes a level of cosmetic customization that gives players a taste of what to expect from the full version of the game.
Players can try out a new superpower in this new Gala Games offering, Xeno Superpower. The Drifter’s Brian Murphy said: “It’s a mix between Mr. Fantastic and Venom. You’re basically teaming up with someone who can wrap around you and turn you into a motorcycle, or a spiky bouncy ball, or summon giant slap hands and turn everyone into blood and guts.
Players can also expect an improved leaderboard. Although the first version of the leaderboard is single-player only, the advanced development team does not include co-op support and rewards for winners.
Advanced and NFTs
NFTs currently exist in these early versions of the game in the form of NFT characters. While non-NFT players can still play, NFT characters have many advantages, such as a higher starting level and more team-oriented abilities. However, developers of Gala Games suggested that NFTs be included from other ecosystems. One thing’s for sure, we can’t wait to see what the final high-end version looks like!
