Neopets Metaverse is streaming its alpha version this week starting Friday, August 26th at 2pm UTC. The Neopets Metaverse Alpha version is an exclusive, invite-only multi-week event. During the alpha version, players will have the opportunity to explore this new metaverse for the first time, participate in six experiences and earn in-game items as well as $NPM tokens.
Alpha version release: What we know so far
To join the Neopet Metaverse Alpha version, you need to be a Neopet Metaverse Collection (NMC), a Pizarro Exclusive Pizza holder, a Masterpiece Collection holder, or just invited by the Neopet team. Current holders can access five Metaverse experiences and earn rewards after each experience is completed.
If you are interested in getting the Alpha version of Metaverse and want Neopets Metaverse NFT, you can currently find it on the secondary market. Secondary marketplaces that currently have Neopets Metaverse NFTs include Solanart, Magic Eden, Fractal, Solsea, and Artemis. If you want to add Pizaroo’s special pizzas NFT to your collection, you can buy them at Fractal, Magic Eden and Solanart.
August 26, 2022 is the official launch date of Neopets Metaverse Alpha version. On the same day, the Neopet team will release three nostalgic mini-games: Turmac Roll, Meerca Chase and Ultimate Bullseye. On September 2nd, players will be able to meet their Neopet, while on September 9th, they will be able to decorate their Neohome. Also, September 16th is the day when players will pit their neopets against other neopets.
What is Neopets Metaverse’s Masterpiece Collection?
The Neopets Metaverse’s Masterpiece NFT Collection includes 1,000 NFTs available at winning prices in the Neopets universe. Owning one of these NFTs gives players access to the invite-only alpha version and a confirmed role in the Neopets Discord community. What’s more, NFT holders can access limited edition in-game items and receive token airdrops.
