A former subject of NFT mockery, PixelmonIt has announced a major plan to turn its fortunes around, putting in place a new leadership team and rolling out a vastly improved roadmap.
In February, the popular NFT project hit the headlines for all the wrong reasons, drawing the ire of its supporters following weeks of false rumors and driving up NFT prices in perhaps the most pessimistic fashion in NFT history, while also creating an outright mockery in NFT history. An intelligent and somehow endearing character, Kevin.
But since the event began, Pixelmon has returned to the fray with renewed vigor. Now it seems that some of the $70 million raised is ready to be put to good use. So far, Pixelmon has replaced most of its original designs with beautiful and shiny 3D images, and launched a smart new website to showcase its Pokemon-style project.
For the next 3 days I will make my favorite character in Pixelmon. This character is called GRAILON and there are 25 of these characters (only 18 defined). GrailonDAO members are amazing people to love. @SteerzNFT, @nft_lft.

Going forward, it’s full steam ahead for the Pixelmon team, which will launch streams by the end of the year, promising an alpha version of the game in Q1 2023, followed by Token And Launch LAND.
But only time will tell if Pixelmon can recover from its troubled early days and regain the trust of the community.
