After months of speculation and subtle hints, Splinterlands Now he has announced the much awaited winning game. As a result, fans of the franchise can soon get dirty with the ‘Splinterlands Tower Defense (SPLTD)’ game.
The platform takes its cues from Traditional tower defense genre, players applying strategy before unleashing wave after wave of enemy stock. But, as with normal fare, once the action starts, you can’t influence the outcome. Instead, relying on the autoplay feature combined with a lot of hope. Additionally, at the end of each level, players can either bank their prize or move on and risk everything.
To help players along the way, Splinterlands launches three types of NFT to use in the game, they come in the form of towers, spells and heroes, each of which offers its own unique advantages. Meanwhile, existing Splinterland cards and governance tokens will have utility in the title.
SPLTD as a Single player PvE game Level progression tied to the player’s account is tied to the soul, meaning regardless of social status, players must work hard to stay ahead of the pack. But to make things even more interesting, the Splinterlands team aims to distribute $1 million worth of SPS prizes to the platform in addition to the regular allocation of NFT-based prizes.
The well-oiled Splinterlands machine plans to launch a beta version of the game at the end of the year, with the first NFTs for September 20 is reducedIncluding 5 towers for $8 per pack.
