The two formed a strategic partnership to build a virtual STEPN city in the Gigaspace Metaverse.
New MetaVersion GigaSpace has formed a strategic partnership with step-to-find fitness app STEPN to build a virtual STEPN City for their community.
Sharing the same vision as STEPN – building a bridge between Web2 and Web3, GigaSpace is building a virtual world designed not only for Web3.0 parties, but also for Web2.0 parties diving into Web3.0.
STEPN City will be a sports-focused city consisting of buildings and facilities such as stadiums, malls and community spaces, where fans and supporters can purchase STEPN merchandise, launch community events and interact meaningfully with each other.
Virtual City is currently under construction and will be available in phases after the Gigaspace Alpha launch. The aim of this partnership is to provide a virtual space where fans from all over the world can easily gather, not limited by geographical barriers.

STEPN is a Web3 lifestyle app with Social-Fi and Game-Fi components. Users equipped with NFT sneakers collect points based on the distance they walk, run or jog, which is tracked by GPS, and are subsequently rewarded with tokens for their progress. The rewards count as Green Satoshi Tokens (GST) for the user’s wallet, which can be used to level up and produce new sneakers.
GigaSpace is building the world’s first Web5 metaverse with a unique ecosystem to combine the Web2 and Web3 worlds to facilitate businesses and communities.
GigaSpace has already partnered with 100+ Web2.0 and Web3.0 parties in a short span of time.
