On Thursday, popular cable channel MTV revealed that popular rappers Eminem and Snoop Dogg have decided to perform their hit single “From the D two The LBC” this Sunday. The music video takes into consideration the non-fungible tokens (NFTs) originating from the Bored Up Yacht Club (BAYC) collection, as well as the upcoming performance of the show’s first ever Metaverse-inspired awards show.

MTV VMAs news that the creators of the BAYC assortment, Yuga Labs, co-founders Gordon Toast and Gargamel, have secured licensing rights for Cryptopunks and Meebits homeowners. Yuga Labs has done the same with BAYC, Mutant Ape Yacht Club (MAYC) and Bored Ape Kennel Club (BAKC) NFTs.

This year’s VMAs Lil Nas X won the WHO VMA of the Year award last year and will be nominated again for Video of the Year. If the creator wins once, Lil Nas X will become the main VMA award winner to win the top award in a row.
Lil Nas X is also into NFT technology, and the musician is also rumored to be collaborating with social media company TikTok and working on digital design with the corporation. TikTok issued NFTs with social media influencer and pop musician Bella Porch, who raised $6 million from the NFT sale, according to Grimes WHO.
A report by Rolling Stone claims that TikTok’s NFT collaboration with celebrities is considered a “mess” and a “total joke.” Months ago, Eminem’s NFT digital action figures and original beats generated nearly $1.78 million in deals on the pure NFT marketplace.
Eminem has also invested in MakersPlus, a number of venture funds and Eminem’s friend, Goliath Records corporate executive and former Def Jam Records president Paul Rosenberg.
