Electric vehicle manufacturer Tesla has launched a new product known as the Cyberwhistle. It is inspired by the legendary CyberTrac series of CyberWhistles launched by Tesla. Tesla CEO announced that Cyberwhistle can only be bought with Dogecoin (DOGE). Musk is a big fan of Dogecoin and has embraced the use of memecoin at Tesla and SpaceX.
Tesla announced the Cyber Whistle
Tesla released a new product catalog Wednesday announcing the launch of the CyberWhistle. In the catalog, Tesla described the limited-edition CyberWhistle as a premium collectible crafted from medical-grade stainless steel with a polished finish.
The Cyber Whistle includes an integrated connectivity feature that provides additional versatility. A production launch is expected soon, with all sales expected to be final. The products will be shipped in 4 to 6 weeks.
Tesla also said that buyers of this new product must pay only in Dogecoin (DOGE). The price of the product is currently set at 1000 DOGE, which is around $60. DOGE price includes taxes and shipping charges.
As mentioned earlier, Tesla is not the first to integrate DOGE payments. Tesla has announced that Dogecoin is the only cryptocurrency currently accepted for select merchandise.

Buyers should be careful when making purchases using Dogecoin. As with all digital asset transactions, funds sent to crypto addresses for incorrect payment amounts or asset types will not be returned or refunded. Additionally, users are required to have a Dogecoin wallet to pay for Tesla merchandise. In the announcement, Tesla reminded consumers that they are responsible for making sure DOGE is passed on correctly.
Elon Musk’s support for Dogecoin
Elon Musk is a big fan of the Dogecoin meme coin. As a show of his support, Musk has adopted Dogecoin as the preferred currency for purchases of select commodities at Tesla and SpaceX.
In the year By 2021, Musk says Dogecoin will be more suitable for payments than Bitcoin. Musk appears to have backed his support in recent quarterly filings that revealed Tesla has sold its Bitcoin assets. However, Musk reiterated that the company has not sold any Dogecoin. In May, SpaceX announced that it would accept Dogecoin for merchandise.
Musk was behind the massive Dogecoin rally early last year. Musk’s frequent tweets and public support for Dogecoin pushed the currency to new all-time highs at the time. However, meme coin has failed to report any significant recoveries and is one of the worst performing cryptocurrencies of the past year.
Mook doubled down on his support for meme coin following a $258 billion lawsuit against him. The lawsuit accuses Musk of misleading his followers into investing in the meme coin despite its volatility. However, after the lawsuit, Musk confirmed that he will continue to support Memecoin.
