The highly anticipated y00ts waitlist Mint has been delayed indefinitely. The news comes as the team postpones its initial mint to deal with internal bugs. Accordingly, shortlisted members will be announced 24 hours before the official start of the waiting list.
Why did the y00ts delay the waitlist mint?
After experiencing a “blocker bug” on their main mint, the y00ts had to postpone the waitlist mint. The event was originally scheduled for September 6th at 2 PM PST. Still, the founders of the project announced to their community that mint will not happen. Unfortunately they haven’t set a new mint date either.
“We make sure that the waiting list is clear when it will be and we give 24 hours to make sure that people are available for mints. Be patient with us, not good conditions… just trying to be fair with our owners.” The team is in a Twitter.
While we don’t know the exact cause of Mint’s delay, the y00ts team mentioned that they are experiencing internal errors. As of this writing, project founder Frank DeGodes is said to be working to resolve the issues.
Why is there so much hype around y00s?
In short, y00ts is a new set of NFTs from the creators of DeGods – Solana’s most successful project to date. There is still a lot of mystery surrounding the new project. To begin with, collectors had to apply for the y00ts scholarship to get on the approved list. Only approved applicants are able to obtain the NFTs required to access the t00b – y00ts collectors.
The project’s main mine took place on September 5 after a 24-hour delay. Some NFT holders took advantage of the announcement and sold Mit already. For example Bored Up NFT Well Franklin made a profit of 90 SOL after selling t00bs mint.
