Yuga Labs, a well-known blockchain technology company, is about to launch a new MechaApps NFT collection, according to some sources in the NFT space. The news has exploded on social media over the past few days. Apparently, Protoss Bored Up has seen a leaked document that confirms that the creators of Yacht Club are planning to raise over $50 million for the new collection. The NFT community is now searching for hidden symbols and messages regarding the report.

Is there a new Yuga Labs NFT project called Mecha Apes?
Rumors about a new set of mecha apps NFT have been circulating online for some time, but recent news has brought the matter back to life. On September 15th, Protoss, a crypto media company, revealed that they had seen a Yuga Labs document that contained leaks and details about a new set of NFTs called Mecha Apes.
So is there any legitimacy to these claims? Well, it’s hard to prove without any concrete evidence. As said, these new leaks point to the launch of a new collection this year. Additionally, according to the leak, it plans to raise $50 million and 100,000 Metaverse tokens.
Notably, Yuga Labs is secretive about its NFT initiatives. However, it outlined broader plans during a $450 million seed round of funding earlier this year.
Some have cited a leaked Yuga lab with a metaverse roadmap other than 2022 where the words Mecha Apps NFT appear.
Others may hold the key to new projects.
While there is no official news about a new collection, there are some subtle hints in the Yoga Labs ecosystem. A piece of cloth is presented as an artifact in other works.
For those who don’t know, other NFTs represent land ownership in the other side, the evolved Bored Up Yacht Club Metaverse. The 100,000-party NFT crowdfunding was highly successful, with over $600 million raised from the initial sale.
Created by Yoga Labs, in partnership with Animoka Brands, The Otherside is a 3D immersive space for the BAYC community. There are huge plans for the Metaverse, which could provide a home for mecha-apps NFTs if they arrive.

BAYC Founder Shuts Down Mecha Apes NFT Rumors
As we know, Yuga Labs is very secretive about its NFT projects. However, in response to current rumours, Yuga founder Gargamel (nickname) spoke. “Fake news,” he quoted on Twitter, citing rumors about Mecha-Up’s NFTs.
This is not the first time he has spoken out against various Yoga Labs rumours. When the Petak floor with the roadmap began rolling out earlier this year, he called it old and outdated.
So we don’t know for sure if Yuga Labs is creating a Mecha Monkey NFT set. We have to wait for an official confirmation to know more about their extensive plans.
